The past 6 months have been exciting and worthwhile for DivaEars. I (KiKi) have gained courage to overcome a lot of fears which rear their ugly head when trying to start a business, but having CONFIDENCE is what DivaEars is all about…right, RIGHT! So, my personal/company goal for January through June was to vend/participate in 3 shows a month and travel once a month….. Goal ACCOMPLISHED!……. I am currently setting goals for August through December but until I post those here are some monthly highlights on DivaEar’s travels and some of the people DivaEars connected with along the way…. DivaEars went on a road trip to New Orleans, LA (whoo-hoo!) for the State of the Nation V: Tipping Point- A Partnership between Alternate ROOTS, ArtSpot Productions, Mondo Bizarro, M.U.G.A.B.E.E., Junebug Productions, New Noise, 7th Ward Community Center, and the NOLA Human Rights Film Festival
State of the Nation is an annual multidisciplinary arts festival and bi-monthly series that brings together students, emerging, and professional performing and visual artists from across the United States who are committed to addressing social, political, and economic issues facing the Gulf South.

DivaEars headed north to Baltimore, MD for the Baltimore Natural Hair Care Expo

Also while I was at the expo I met a young lady named Rashida, who does natural hair consultation. She has a you-tube channel www.youtube.com/ShidaNatural where she tries “new” hair products (on herself) and gives the yay/nay as well as some really good natural hair care tips. Philadelphia was the destination and it involved a table at a street festival, a spot at Philly’s Best Talent Showcase… Philly LivePod (Thursday nights) and some special in-person deliveries….. Ahh!!! The first time my hometown became more than just HOME!!!!! Then……….back to Atlanta…..
